Our handlers are licensed by the SIA (Security Industry Authority) and are screened accordingly and a checkable history carried out.  The Dogs are transported in vehicles that meet Defra (Department for Rural Affairs) and the dogs are trained to NASDU, (National Association of Security Dog Handlers) standards.

 

The handler and dog regularly take part in continued professional development training which is documented accordingly.

 

The Dog Unit is clearly marked and presents a high visibility deterrent to any would be theft or persons likely to engage in criminal acts in the area in which we operate.
